Convention 2017

What a year for the Royal Harmonics!

In May 2017, The Royal Harmonics went to Bournmouth to compete in the National competition for the British Association of Barbershop Singers.

At this convention, there are several competitions - a Quartet Competition, a Chorus Competition and a Mixed Chorus Competition.  The Royal Harmonics came 4th in the National Chorus competition with thier highest score - making the top 4 positions within a 2% mark.  We had our very own Michael Potts compete with Head Quarters, gaining 4th place, whilst Stuart Owen placed his quartet Portobello Road as the National Champions, wining the Gold Medal.  That is not all as some of our members competed with the Extreme Quartet Mixed Chorus and also achieved the Gold place.
